For New Accounts
Prepayment is required for all new accounts. Please allow ten (10) business days for the company check to clear before shipment is made. First 5 orders must be paid in cash, certified checks, cashiers checks, money orders or wire transfers. Thereafter company checks may be accepted upon approval of credit and verification of credit worthiness. Your company name address must appear on your check and match your account with seller’s permit information. Temporary, personal and postdated checks are not acceptable. We will charge a fee of $30 for each returned check and we will no longer accept checks after a second returned check.
Inspection Period and Acceptance of Merchandise
Claims for any defects or omissions in shipments must be make in writing within 48 hours of receipt of merchandise. Failure to give us a written notice within 48 hours shall constituted an irrevocable acceptance of the merchandise delivered. Any portions of shipment of goods that you retain for a period of 48 hours shall constitute an irrevocable acceptance of the merchandise.
If customer chooses to refuse any merchandise, the customer must notify VIG Furniture of such refusal in writing within 48 hours of the receipt and agree to reship the merchandise to us in the original condition at customer's expense within 96 hours after such rejection, otherwise customers acceptance of the goods shall be irrevocable and conclusively presumes. VIG Furniture Inc. reserves the right to examine and inspect all returned and exchanged items before deciding wherever to issue a credit to your account. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.
All defective merchandise that is returned to us must be packed in original boxes with original packing material. Merchandise that has been assembled will not be accepted for a refund, credit or exchange.
VIG Furniture Inc. does not issue cash refunds. Subject to these terms and conditions, we will give or exchange only for defected merchandise or omissions.
VIG Furniture Inc. does not accept or honor charge-back, debits, returns, offsets, deductions, or claims without our express written consent. We ask the you exercise common business courtesy and notify us of any issues so that we have an opportunity to address any concerns and amicably reach a solution.
All items, prices, and hours of operation are subject to change without notice. Your written purchase order will be considered an offer to purchase goods identified therein.
Price quotations that we issue shall be valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of quotation.
All applicable federal, state and local sales, use, or excise taxes are the responsibility and shall be in addition to the price.
The law of California, excluding its conflict of law rules, shall govern the rights an obligations of the parties. Any action arising out of transactions between VIG Furniture Inc. and the customer shall be heard and resolved in the Los Angeles, California court system. The United Nation Convention on Agreement for the International Sale of Goods shall not apply to transactions between VIG Furniture Inc. and the customer.
Force Majeure
All orders are subject to strikes, labor problems, lockouts contingencies of transportation, failure of usual source of supply of fuel, materials or labor; accidents, product delay or any other difficulties; and VIG Furniture INC. will be relieved from responsibility for delay or failure of delivery arising out of any such causes.
Claims, Returns and Exchange Policy
VIG Furniture makes sure to take all possible measures to ensure your orders ships and arrives in the best condition possible. We ask customers to inspect all the merchandise at the time of arrival, and note all damages or possible concealed damages before signing the delivery receipt. If the merchandise arrived damaged, please contact us and provide pictures and details of the damages in written form. If damaged merchandise is not reported promptly, we will no be able to assist you with later claims.
In case of damages in end-user's location, it is end-user's responsibility to keep the package, provide all necessary claim materials and prepare the merchandise to be picked up.
All defective merchandise must be returned in the original packing material. We will replace only defected merchandise. VIG Furniture does not issue cash refunds. Shipping charges are not refundable.
There will be a 25% restocking fee for returned items with original packing. Merchandise that has been assembled will not be accepted for a refund.
All products are sold as ex-works warehouse. VIG Furniture is not responsible for the damages caused by the freight company. The buyer bears all costs and risks involved in taking the goods from our premises to the desired destination. Only manufacturer defects are subject to the return policy rules and regulations. In order for an item to be replaced for any reason, the original item must be returned in 'Like-New' condition for a full or partial refund. In case of loss, damage or any production defect, replacements will be provided for cost or free of charge, and will be available for pick up from our warehouse only.
Special Orders
Please note that there may be variations in shade due to natural origin of wood, leather and fabric materials. Digital or printed image colors can also be slightly different from the originals. Special order can be canceled within first 48 hours of placing the order. Company reserves right of refusal for refunds or exchanges after such time. All delivery dates are approximate and can change due to production time frame, overseas loading plans, shipping schedule or any other causes beyond our control. Deposit of 30% must be paid before the order will be processed. All merchandises remain the property of the VIG Furniture INC. until paid in full.
Minimum Advertised Price Policy (MAP)
VIG Furniture has determined that its interests are best served through the adoption of a minimum advertised price ("MAP") policy. This MAP policy is designed to protect reseller margins and sales process efficiency, support the VIG Furniture brand as a premium offering; and avoid destructive intra-brand reseller conflict.
This policy has been unilaterally adopted by VIG Furniture and will be effective from August 1, 2011 and uniformly enforced starting September 1, 2011.
Policy Coverage
This MAP policy covers all VIG Furniture resellers located in the United States. Although resellers remain free to establish their own resale prices, VIG Furniture will, without assuming any liability, unilaterally impose sanctions as described in this policy against resellers who advertise applicable VIG Furniture products at prices below those specified in companies price book or online. VIG Furniture will not discuss any conditions of acceptance related to this MAP policy, as it is non-negotiable, and will not be altered for any reseller.
MAP applies only to minimum advertised prices and does not apply to the price at which the products are actually sold, or to advertised prices higher than the unilateral minimum resale prices established by VIG Furniture.
Minimum Advertised Price
MAP prices are published in VIG Furniture’s printed Price Book (effectrive August 1, 2011) and available for download on our official company Website (visible for logged in accounts only). The products and MAP may be changed from time to time at VIG Furniture’s sole discretion. VIG Furniture resellers are responsible for remaining current with MAP policy, products and pricing.
Each advertisement below the MAP will be a violation of the policy.
The MAP policy applies to all advertisements of specific VIG Furniture products in and all media including, without limitation, flyers, posters, coupons, mailers, inserts, newspapers, magazines, catalogs, mail order catalogs, Internet or similar electronic media, television, radio and public signage.
Policy Violations
In the event a reseller chooses not to follow the VIG Furniture MAP policy, sanctions will be unilaterally imposed by VIG Furniture.
Violations of MAP policy shall be determined by VIG Furniture in its sole discretion.
VIG Furniture will not accept any communication from a reseller who has violated this MAP policy regarding the violation or the willingness of the reseller to bring its prices into compliance with the MAP policy. VIG Furniture reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who violates MAP policy and continuous violations can result in termination of account.
Policy Modifications
VIG Furniture reserves the right at any time to modify, suspend, or discontinue the MAP policy in whole or in part or designate promotional periods during which the terms of the policy change or designate periods of time during which the policy is not applicable. Policy modifications shall be made available on the VIG Furniture website.
Unilateral Action
VIG Furniture is not seeking agreement from any reseller to adhere to this MAP policy. It is entirely within the discretion of the reseller whether to comply or not comply.

VIG Furniture SALES PERSONNEL HAVE NO AUTHORITY TO MODIFY OR GRANT EXCEPTIONS TO THIS POLICY OR HAVE ANY COMMUNICATIONS WITH ANY RESELLER REGARDING VIOLATIONS OF THIS MAP POLICY.
All questions or comments regarding this MAP policy are to be directed to the policy administrator at marketing@vigfurniture.com. The policy administrator shall be solely responsible for determining whether a violation of the policy has occurred, communicating decisions to resellers regarding the policy and receiving any communication regarding sanctions imposed under this policy.
Freight
To reduce and prevent pick-up traffic, all freight companies are required to call 24 hours prior arriving at our warehouse. All shipments are FOB our warehouse, shipped freight collect. Palletized orders are well packed and protected to ensure safe delivery. Please allow 1-4 business days to prepare the order on pallet.
Getting a catalog
In order to get a catalog you should have an active account with our company, otherwise the catalog must be purchased. The price of the catalog will be deducted from your first order.
Notification of Changes
Please check the VIG Furniture Terms regularly, as updates and changes are made as necessary. Any information on this web site can be changed without prior notification.
